A Problem

Hello
I was wondering if anyone can help
My Dad has a works laptop with a Netgear Router, he has came home tonight and it is not working.
He uses a thing called Cisco Systems VPN client to use the internet, now he is connecting to it and he is getting a message saying 'Remote Peer is no longer Responding'
What can be causing this? I've checked all connections etc all seem fine.
I fear the modem might have been broken to cause this though
What does everyone else think?
I need feedback asap as my dad is not a happy man

Re: A Problem

Has he checked with who he VPNs to that there are no problems there?
Has he switched off the router, laptop and CM and then turned them back on. Can he browse the internet?

Re: A Problem

we have this system here to log in to the US system. It's somit to do with the dns address given out. Try lushing the dns or renewing the IP Address!
