Is that a dulcimer that you're supposed to play when you're extremely drunk?
RHA-SA950i headphones really rather good sound for the price...

Re: What have you just bought?
Actually I bought it last week, but it's the last interesting item I bought..
I bought a 240 Gig Samsung 840 series SSD.
Windows 8 now boots so fast it takes almost as much time for the PC to complete it's boot up self test as it does to boot Windows.

I wish you lived nearer, I could do with knowing some one with a welding touch. I have a bronze crab, sounds grander than it actually is, and one of the front claws sheared off when I dropped my lump hammer on it .... don't ask, even John backed away from asking why I was wielding a lump hammer in the conservatory
Went out this morning to buy a pair of jeans and came back with shoes. Red shoes, shiny red ones with big bows on the backs and pointy toes. Will need to go back tomorrow to buy the jeans and I will close my eyes as I go through the shoe department, honest.

Re: What have you just bought?
I hope you lot realise that at this time of wage/benefit cuts and general austerity, this thread is being closely monitored by all sorts of govt. agencies hoping to extablish whether your income, expenditure on luxury items and tax payments can be properly reconciled...

Not a luxury purchase for us Osem, but we have decided to replace the entire flooring on the ground floor, the carpets we inherited from the previous owners 15 years ago, have seen us through trials and tribulations with our old dog. Only problem is I am left with the task of painting all the skirting boards, radiators and walls (Mr T is not a handyman). But hopefully it is going to be well worth the effort.

I'll have you know my lump hammer is not pink!!!!!!! I do not possess girly tools!!!!
Well the legs all seem to have been cast separately and added on so I am hopeful that it will be possible to weld the claw back on. At the moment the poor thing has a distinct list to the left and has to be propped up against the Aspidistra.

You could take a detour I suppose...

Errrrr that would send me passed the handbags and I was thinking that a red handbag to match my new shoes would be a tad extravagant but as you suggested the detour I guess fate has intervened. So a detour it is and I shall tell john it was all your idea.

You going for new carpets? Can't beat the smell of new carpet... Having said that leather upholstery isn't bad either. Not that we can afford such capitalistic decadent luxuries...
