well i realised the RJ11 to RJ11 cable that i use between my router and main socket is very important. I have a very good wire however the clips are broken on the ends so its very easy to pull them out. the wre my isp gives me increases the ping on my connection so i was wodering where can i find a GOOD quality RJ11-RJ11 cable?
I just make my own Also you might instead with to go for RJ12 to RJ12, the extra pins don;t do a lot BUT they do provide better strength as there's more wires for the plug to grip onto
Hi, if you want to keep the same bit of cable then buy yourself a crimping tool from maplins and spare rj11 connectors either 4 or 6 pin and jus crimp the new connectors onto that cable just make sure you note down which way round the colored cables are.
