It would not surprise me he didn't get sacked. You know that the Chelsea owner cannot buy everything.

I watched the game, and felt sorry for the fact, they were totally outplayed by a Madrid side that caught Chelsea out.

As for the Tottenham bit. I don't think whatever manager you have at Spurs, we will still be *****. And l dont say that lightly, l have supported them for 40 years, and they have always been the same.

Levy, has to decide who he wants, and stick by it.

We will still be a second rate side against the big boys, if Paulinho goes, then take the other crap with him. Soldado will go down as the worst striker we have ever had.

Sorry didn't Spurs blow £100 million in the summer? Sitting here talking about teams trying to buy stuff.. Hypocrite.
At least when Chelsea spend money they actually go on to achieve things. You should know a lot about that being 6th and all below 3 teams that spent less than you. Your frequent digs at every other club in London are becoming annoying.

ah thanks

We need another DM. We need games where we can play Flamini and Arteta (or Bender) occasionally. I do love a good defensive midfielder.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window

Lars Bender will most probably not happen. Mandzukic unlikely with Bayerns stance. Schmeichel will want to play not be benched. Chambers I cannot comment on, havent seen much & Remy.. ok. Hardly surprising that 1/2 out of 5 could happen. I should make a sig...

now those are names Arsenal should be chasing but instead the wrong ones are being quoted then they will end up with much a lesser player!

“I met one of the members of Arsenal’s sports science department and he said he told Arsene Wenger on many occasions that ‘you are working the players too hard’ and Wenger took no notice.” Robson told ESPN FC

“In fact, the rest of the coaching staff told him to be careful what he says because Wenger could get him out of the club” he added

http://redlondon.net/2014/04/30/expo...rmer-employee/
something is definitely not right and its hardly surprising reading the above. I know full well Robson isn't Wengers biggest fan but nonetheless its proven on the field infront of our eyes that Wenger burns out players. There are positives and negatives in it. the balance though hasn't been found and thats the problem.

There nothing more inevitable then a former employee trying to settle old scores and get his own back.

He's a typical centre Ajax style centre half, good on the ball with a turn of pace. He would probably compliment Mertesacker quite well but he's young and inexperienced, probably a bit too soon for him in the premier league so I would be inclined to let him develop at Ajax for another couple of seasons.

Not surprising to see Levy making use of other clubs scouting networks as usual.

He would replace Verm so he would be behind Mert and Kos as 3rd choice unless of course he manages to dislodge one. I'd say possibly joining on learning would help development but ultimately its first hand experience that would push him on.

I'm also getting annoyed now about this constant release of the kitty. I know us fans want to know but thats because they never do whats needed. total incompetence!

Could be an interesting battle for Veltman then. If de Boer goes to spurs does he follow him? Or does Dennis have a word with him about Arsenal? And would Dennis go with de Boer to spurs!
