Virgin TV advert
Has anyone else seen the advert for the full house bundle?. V6 200Mb phone £55.
At the bottom of the screen near the end it's says up to 200Mb 01/08 up to 100Mb.
Are there new bundles from next month?. I've looked at the website, no sign of any changes there.

Re: Virgin TV advert
In a shopping centre today and the VIP package (2xV6, lots of channels, 200MB BB, landline package) was being advertised at £85 ppm incl Sky Sports channels - FOR NEW CUSTOMERS ONLY !!!.
I'm currently on full house and last monthly bill was >£130 so an online quote from Sky for similar setup was £86 with a highish one-off charge.
I called Customer Services and after a bit of frank discussion, he moved me to the VIP package for £96 per month provided I go with a 12 month contract - that's a saving of > £30 per month on the package. A result but nevertheless a shocking way to treat their existing customers.

Re: Virgin TV advert
I think once your out of contract, you can sign up for a new one and get the same deal and discounts as new customers. The risk is where you unexpectedly have to move and then have to pay the large cancellation fees.

Shocking maybe, but this appears to be standard practice these days. Keep updating your package and link into a contract or we will make you pay seems to be the way of the world as it is now.
