What is in the small building?
Hello,
What are these small brick buildings and what is in them?, Growing up i always got told that the boogey man lived in there is that true? .
I don't think they are anything to do with virgin but i know there a few knowledgeable people here and i have always wanted to know .

A similar one near to us has the same yellow sign and is an Electricity sub station.

Some don't have roofs so you can see what's inside. Not very exciting: Just a big transformer and some switch gear.

Its an electric substation that contains switchgear that converts an HV (High Voltage) connection into an LV (Low Voltage). This are normally built to support LV electric distribution to a certain number of properties and are usually built at the entrance to new housing estates.

I only recall the ones with metal fences.
I remember the warning ads with the football going over the fench, and some kid climbing over to get it and frying.
