Apparently Arsenal and Liverpool have both made bids for him with Liverpools bid being higher so lets just see what happens in the coming days.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
I'm reading a lot of reports of Di Maria to United being a real possibility. Jorge Mendez is his agent who has a good relationship with United, theres people saying the deal is done and its just waiting for him to get back from the world cup. Madrid want to get rid of him so they can sign Falcao and/or James Rodriguez apparently.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
Di Maria would be a excellent signing for MU as he is their type of player.
Falcao from what l hear is already a done deal to RM.

We won't be signing both, had a bid for Martin Olsen of Norwich rejected earlier to, the club will sign one or the other by the weekend, kolo is the top target and we'll regret not signing him if he slips through the net.

I reckon Di Maria is PSG bound. And Toni Kroos is already in the bag for RM so theres no need for James Rodriguez according to the media in Spain... http://www.mundodeportivo.com/201407...410682346.html

Mathieu Debuchy has taken NUFC out of his bio

& it now seems Arsenal are trying a double swoop
Vidal - not sure
Alexis Sanchez - highly likely a deal will be completed
Luis Gustavo - too big of a release clause
Sami Khedira - possible
Lars Bender - not sure
Morgan Schneiderlin - Southampton will want too much

Not as confident as you on Sanchez. All we know is Arsenal seem to be interested but so do Liverpool and god knows who else.

Puma now have close ties like that of Man Utd for example where Nike offers new signings packages as part of signing for Man Utd. Its a massive factor. 'Stronger Together' means alot. Puma didn't promise big things for nothing.

Who have Nike helped United sign? I haven't seen sponsors sign players or even pony up additional cash on top of what they did for the contract. I think their thinking is that they already paid their money and now it's time for Arsenal to hit performance targets.
Why didn't Nike help us before? Why would Puma be different? Wouldn't Liverpool's sponsor also help out if this is the why things worked? I haven't seen this theory outside of Twitter....

PS I do think any official unveiling will wait until the new kit is out. Puma don't want players holding up old Nike kits but I don't think they'll have a influence or role in the signing.

Ask at the next AST meeting. I can't be arsed to explain.
btw performance target clauses get paid when triggered. The big numbers in the press don't get broken down.

I think this is a Twitter thing. Not seen a professional outlet or even seen an example of a sponsor getting involved with club transfers.

Yes that's why Arsenal need to meet them,
