Cable Modem----Belkin Router/switch-------WAP-------Laptop
Then the other 3 port on the switch to PC, PC and iMac.
And last, but not least, one of my PCs has 2 ethernet, so I'm bridging to another PC with that.

Re: sharing bb connection to more than one xp machine
You can also use a wired/ normal router with cables where the wireless routers are in use in the examples above. It will depend on how far apart the computers are that you want to share the connection and whether you want to have cables that can look a bit of an eyesore.
How many computers are you wanting to share the connection with and where are they situated in the house?

Actually, if it's direction of data they are showing, they should go both ways.

Don't think there's anything wrong there - you're only connecting one "device" to the STB
