Re: Boxing 2011
It's all action from the Klitschko brothers now, Haye seems to have no interest at all.
One of the Key factors of the loss to the Wlad I think was the fact of his build up fights were pathetic.. Someone like Harrison before Wlad was stupidity. A squash match that gave him no real challenge at all which led into a fight with the best Heavyweight in the world. Kudos to Haye & Booth for being unbelievable idiots.
There were easily better and harder options than Harrison and it goes to show almost solid proof that Harrison was simply a money fight for both of them. Absolute joke imo.

Tony Bellew is happy to acknowledge Nathan Cleverly's academic prowess, but feels confident he has a better boxing brain than the Welshman. The pair go toe-to-toe on Saturday night at the Echo Arena in Bellew's home city of Liverpool, with Cleverly's WBO light-heavyweight belt on the line.

Re: Boxing 2011
I've been hearing rumblings from Bellew's training camp that he is in top form. Boxing forums are buzzing that Bellew might actually pull of the shock and stop Cleverly.
I think Bellew has a great chance. I've always thought Cleverly has had an easy ride to the top. Yes he's held the British, Commonwealth, European and WBO light heavyweight titles but he has never beat the reigning champion to get the belt. He's always faced a top 10 contender for each belt after the champion vacated. He's also only stopped 11 of his 22 opponents.
Cleverly has never been down, Bellew has been down 4 times and comeback and won. Bellew has the experience of going down and coming back to fight on. I think Cleverly might have a tough night ahead of him if his chin isn't made of granite.
My head says Cleverly on points, my heart says Bellew by K.O. Eitherway it'll be a good fight, one I won't be placing a bet on.

James DeGale became European super-middleweight champion as he secured a majority decision against Piotr Wilczewski in Liverpool. DeGale bounced back from his points defeat by George Groves in May, the first loss of his professional career

Nathan Cleverly ensured this was not a day Wales will have to forget completely by retaining his WBO light-heavyweight crown against Tony Bellew in a steamer of a contest fuelled by the two men's enmity.
The count was 114-114, 116-113, 117-112 in the champion's favour, and at the end both men could grin and accept that the bad blood should be discarded after each had banged each other around the canvas enough to prove their points but l wa a bit surprised in the points discrepancy at the end of the fight with one judge in particular.

Re: Boxing 2011
At least the judging in the Cleverly fight wasn't the only suspect thing going on in boxing last night!
MMA style takedown ruled as a TKO when it should have been a no contest.
