for the 1st image, no idea what to put in can anyone help? for the 2nd image, does NTl use static IPs? 3rd image is what it gives me when i continue, even though everything is connected fine?

nope no luck, tried that clone thing. i don't know if i am supoosed to select Dynamic IP or Static IP. When i select Dynamic Ip it doesn't ask for any details but just says problem with your net connection even though everything is connected and my net works fine without the router.

With Static IP it asks for all those details above, whether i enter them or not (from ipconfig /all) it still gives the same error!

Re: D LINK DI 524 Wireless Router Problem

When you add the router to the mix, do you turn off the cable modem, then add the router, then switch the cable modem back on, wait for the lights to settle and then plug in the router?

That's how it's meant to be done after setting the router up

Also, do you have the latest firmware ?

The latest firmware should iron out any previous bugs there may have been.

Try here for the latest firmware from DLink.
