According to the Guardian looks like Andora weren't the only cheats!

Re: Are Steve McClaren's days numbered
Sounds horrific but what were the fans doing ........ booing, honestly I am so fed up with these pre madonna's, they are a joke, what were these deluded superstars expecting, to be carried of the field in triumph? I really don't know what it would take to snap these people back into reality, perhaps if they had to make sacrifices and save to go abroad and see the dross they inflict on the rest of us they'd realise how privileged they are to represent their country

The best thing England fans could do would be to stay at home - that might focus a few minds at the FA and within the squad.

Actually, even Martin Tyler and David Platt admitted that he dived during the commentary on Sky, so that must be a first...
Oh, and kudos where it's due - Northern Ireland are flying at the mo

I'd go along with that although that well known moron Steve Claridge said he thought a lot of fans travelled with the sole intention of giving Steve McClaren a hard time, another one with little grasp on reality, he might be able to afford to spend thousands and travel hundreds of miles for such ridicules reasons most fans cannot though

Lots of these folk live in cloud cuckoo land - out of touch with the fans in just the same way as most MP's are out of touch with ordinary people.

Re: Are Steve McClaren's days numbered
So what's the consensus on tonight's match? If we don't win it looks like we're out of the tournament but will the FA accept the mistake that was appointing McLaren in the first place and get shot of him? Somehow I doubt it Sven's still on the payroll too isn't he ?
-----------------------------
Just heard Mclaren quoted as saying that against Brazil England had showed what they're capable of ? What? Drawing 1-1 with Brazil in a friendly? Big deal! Neither team played well but from what I saw Brazil should've won as they had a perfectly good goal disallowed. I really don't know what Mclaren learned from that performance.
