Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Looks like LVG is bringing in all new coaching staff.....has he not learned anything from Moyes? OK I get that he needs people he knows and trusts but changing the OT set-up so rapidly didn't work last season so I'm hoping he retains Giggs and the other 92'ers in more than token capacities.

You have to let the manager do what he wants in terms of coaching staff. If you want a class of '92 dream team then you need to appoint Giggs.

Personally, I think he is right to get his own staff. He lives or dies by that. No halfway house (as Moyes tried to do).
If you want giggs, appoint giggs, else let the guy do the job his way.
Too many back seat drivers

Sentimentality aside I don't think Giggs and co are right for the job yet. Nobody knows the club more but they don't have the experience, in fact even less than Moyes. But I still think they needed to retained in some capacity if only as a bridge while the new management gets in to the club.

Den, he is right to do so, until Newcastle offer him a settlement to leave. I suspect most, if not all, would do that. I am positive I would.
