Re: Nokia 3310 returns
I'll consider it when my Nokia 2500 classic (2004, still original battery) packs in....
It cost me £10 new, with £10 of credit... which lasted me a few years...

Re: Nokia 3310 returns
I think Nokia are gonna sell a lot of these if they market them correctly and dont lose their heads asking a fortune.

I could be very tempted as well, I loved my old 3310 (which I still have, tucked away).

Re: Nokia 3310 returns
Well I read that these use the 2G network which several counties have turned off.

More like £55 for the UK, as I can't ever recall the UK being cheaper than the ROW.

Re: Nokia 3310 returns
2.5G. And it's the 850 and 1900 MHz frequencies used in the Americas that this handset doesn't support.

Re: Nokia 3310 returns
I think a lot of people do use the "dual phone" system. My main phone is a Nokia 203. Which isn't a million miles away from a 3310
I also have an I phone for music, Email and apps etc.

Re: Nokia 3310 returns
Dual band in Europe is usually understood to be 900 and 1800MHz, which this device will support. What this isn't is what is normally described in the European market as a "tri-band" or "quad-band" phone, which is what you need for travel in the Americas.
Actually you barely hear anyone asking about bands these days, I guess all modern smartphones must just support all the bands in use across all 2/3/4G networks worldwide.
