Hello Guys,
New user and first post.
I am the pround owner of an 8520 Curve for about a week. I have set up and successfully use a
xxxxxx@virginmedia.blackberry.com push email address without any problems.
My 2 issues are detailed below - any help or guidance gratefulyl received!!!!:
1. "Application Center". Always returns an error "An error occured while updating the application list: Error 404"
2. Unable to login to
http://www.virginmobile.blackberry.com/
I thought it was maybe a mis-spelt password so requested the password be sent to my phone. I got the following message delivered:
"You asked to have you password sent to your device.
Username and password don't exist. Please use your device to access Blackberry Internet Service."
So, do I need to worry about these issues, or just accept that the phone does what I want it to, ie, phone, text, SMS, email and web browsing?
I did update the phone os to v5.0.0.592 when I first got it out of the box, as it was running 4.x originally.
Should I contact Virgin re these problems?
