I find it worrying that there are fans willing to *kill* somebody because he made a wrong decision in what is, when all is said and done, just a game.

They are not genuine fans, they are just moronic numbskulls with the IQ of an ameoba.
Genuine fans would be slightly down and then pick themselves up and start thinking about the World Cup.
Incog.

"UEFA Praises English fans" directly below it.
I know that relates to a different news item, just though it was funny directly below the other headline.
I was't saying that it was funny that england fans were sending treats.
I'll get my coat....

No prizes for guessing which members of our wonderful press are behind this disgusting campaign.

Well done greece, im 70 better off
Dad placed a bet on them just after the france game, unsure of the odd's but it brought in 140.. On the way home from work he needed some petrol, so I lent him a fiver, and he said I could go halves on that bet (Thinking they had no chance).. How gutted he is now

Re: MERGED - Euro 2004
Well done Greece. It would have been nice to see the winning team go for the second goal, rather than defend the lead, but hey, they've taken some scalps. They definitely deserved the win tonight. Portugal never seemed to threaten them really.
