The Crossing
I had not heard of this one until it popped up as a new show on my calendar today;
Quote:
Refugees from a war-torn country start showing up to seek asylum in an American town. Only the country these people are from is America and the war they are fleeing is 250 years in the future. The local sheriff with a past, a federal agent and a mother in search of her missing refugee daughter drive this allegory with a surprising conspiracy at the center.
I may give this a try, see how it goes (starts on April 2nd 2018).
Just caught up and I am glad they sort of wrapped it up with a happy ending and at the same time left the story open and to be continued. It is a good series and I would have watched more. It would be interesting to find out if the sheriff/sheriff's dna is the starting point for Apex because of the dream we saw him have. To make it a realistic story line though I would want a proper reason why and would Reece & Co eventually determine that that is why his name is on the wall and pop him off in the past in order to protect the future?
