Virginmobile signal any good?

I stopped using virgin mobile a few years ago when i found the signal utter rubbish.

My Orange contract is finishing up soon and i'm looking around at different deals/networks.

I live in Essex but do travel up and down the country a fair bit so need reliable signal, do Virgin still ride on the back of Tmobile's masts, or did i read correctly somewhere that they might be using Orange's masts?

Any experiences/comments gratefully appreciated.

Re: Virginmobile signal any good?

Yes. Virgin still piggybacks on T mobile. Coverage has improved in the last few years, but there are still some yawning gaps in rural areas.

T Mobile and Orange do plan to merge, but are likely to run seperate networks for the forseeable future.

Ok cool thanks, i haven't had a problem with Orange so i suppose if it's not broke don't fix it, i always like to look around though.

Thanks again
