Phil I saw you winning us the Scottish Cup back in 1991 with my Grandad. And you dies playing the game you love.

Thanks for the memories RIP mate.

My deepest sympathy goes out to his friends and family at this sad time.

i saw him as a young pro and at hampden that glorious day in 91 when he helped us win the cup, im so sad to hear this news,a wonderfully gifted and committed footballer a model professional and family man he will be sorely missed by all the motherwell family. My deepest sympathies go out to his wife children and extended family
