Re: Cant Connect To NAS server, need help!
Are you trying with the ip address or some network name? It's possible a firewall is in the way.

More information about the setup might help.....
Are you going through a router? What operating systems are the two machines running? Have you checked/changed the cables? Does the NAS require a username/password, if so have you checked that you have them right? What have you tried so far? Are you getting any error messages?

Re: Cant Connect To NAS server, need help!
try putting the NAS on the other side of that firewall (plug it into the wgr614)
see what happens
ps. when i was 13 girls were far more important than NAS connection issues

Yeah I would concur, the NAS is the wrong side of the Firewall

Re: Cant Connect To NAS server, need help!
I don't see the need for the firewall anyway. I'd just put the modem into the router and connect the NAS to the router like everything else.

I think ATMT NAS devices have the ability to be accessed over the net, so it might be on the correct side - if it can and he's accessing that way...

...Yes and so can we. I think you may want to put some security on that.
I got access to your Green Day MP3 libary, your Habbo source files and everything on your NAS...
Digital Spy - oh yeah! LOL!
Now - where would a 13 year old keep his porn...
