Re: Star Trek: Discovery (2017)

that was good and hit the right tone. Hopefully they will keep doing little things like that because with all the delays they have had they need to keep the audience enthused and engaged.

Re: Star Trek: Discovery (2017)

I liked the original concept of the ship. The newer design isn't as edgy in my opinion.

It looks a lot like other types of starfleet ship, such as the Akira.

The ship design hasn't changed. That other ship is not the discovery but an other starfleet ship.

You can see the discovery design in the same video. That's how.

Re: Star Trek: Discovery (2017)

Well out there in the LaLa Land opinion is divided. It's either the Discovery or the USS Shenzou.

Apparently the crew for this USS Shenzou has been announced and Michelle Yeoh is the captain.

Speculation is that the USS Shenzou will meet it's demise and transfer to the Discovery.

All pure fanboy speculation

As there is always more than the main ship, I wouldn't think they would totally redesign the ship either.

Re: Star Trek: Discovery (2017)

Looks OK but too modern for 10 years before Kirk.

Re: Star Trek: Discovery (2017)

That video states "Not Available"

This one works for me ;

The series has also been increased from 13 Episodes to 15 Episodes .

That was edited very different to the US version of the trailer.
