Humax HDR Fox T2 random scrolling

I recently bought a Humax HDR Fox T2 which has been working normally for a couple of weeks. Today I turned it on and every time I press the channel up or down buttons or use the centre navigation buttons it just continues scrolling indefinitely.

Has anyone come across this or have any ideas why it is doing it? I've switched off at the socket and restarted to see if that would clear it but it didn't.

Re: Humax HDR Fox T2 random scrolling

Hi thanks for the replies.

No lights nearby and the button definitely not jammed.

The front buttons work fine.

Re: Humax HDR Fox T2 random scrolling

Best to eliminate the remote first. Cover the front of the remote with your hand when the fault appears if it stops it's the remote, possibly a sticky key.If not then it's the unit. Is it still under guarantee?
