Wow, if Wales win this it's because of Davies's fowl! Dirty dirty unsportsman like play.

You're starting to look very much like a troll, and trolls dont last long on this forum.
Well done to Wales.
I have seen all of Portugals matches, and they look dreadful in defence, if Wales play like they did for most of today, they will get past them easily.
Of course, they will lose to Germany in the final

Re: Euro 2016 thread
Broken record again. Said it before. The big teams look like absolute crap this tournament. As Paul said, Portugal are shocking and let's be fair, the same thing happened in the Premier League, the big teams were awful throughout and allowed an underdog to win it with consistency. Don't see why that can't happen here. Greece did it in 2004.
Not sure why people insist on hating other teams with a passion, its only a game. Myself as a Newcastle fan, I very very rarely go out of my way to make any sort of remark about Sunderland, I'm never going to be part of that brigade. I always hope we do better than Sunderland but if they were to win a cup I'd tip my hat and congratulate them rather than try to put them down. There's plenty of Newcastle and Sunderland fans that engage in friendly banter and themselves are far from serious.
With that said, great for Wales. This isn't a one time thing in my opinion. Its a start of a new leaf for Welsh international football. This tournament will provide inspiration for the future of Welsh football.

Re: Euro 2016 thread
I can see Wales winning it now. The whole team were fantastic. This what dreams are made of.
What makes feel sick is the fact that when so called team called ENGLAND, came home, they flaunted all there wealth, and went on holiday and didn't give a crap about anything.
Yet, we have a team from Wales, that were living a dream. And my god they played with passion, blood and sweat. And when the Wales got booked. Know they would not play in the Semi's. The horror on there faces, showed there passion and sorrow.
This is what football does to you. Coleman for next England Manager - Only joking Wales
I am going to buy a Welsh flag for my car now. Bloody fantastic performance.

Re: Euro 2016 thread
Ive never liked the yellow cards rule. Not in England and not in Tournaments. Ban a player for a red and follow up but given how ridiculously easy it is to pick up yellow cards, I don't think anyone should be banned for two mediocre challenges in separate games.

I think he referring to the 3 out of 9 Welsh players who were born in England out of the total squad, yes 9'players born and bred in England to at least 1 English parent. Including Gareth Bale an some even have old school books stating the dream to play for England.
To be honest it's a great result for the Welsh team, the disallowed penalty and free kick will always cloud the result however far they get. But hey, just enjoy it lol.

You never get a yellow for your first yellowable offence. You get it after a warning or 2! You may however get a yellow for a serious offence early in the game instead of a red.

Sounding a bit UKIP/EDL there, England for the English eh?? You'd be better off complaining to FIFA about their clearly inadequate national selection criteria.

Re: Euro 2016 thread
Is it just me or does anyone else think Christaino Ronaldo acts like a spoilt child when things don't go Portugal's way? That's what I've seen from the last two matches imo

So stating what is a FACT, that 9 Welsh players were born and raised in England to at least one English parent is incorrect?
Stating A Welsh player committed a foul in the box that should of been a penalty is incorrect? Stating a Welsh player committed a foul just outside the box that should of been a free kick is incorrect?
Argentina won via a hand ball against England, no one forgets. France beat Ireland due to an unpunished handball. Wales won, but they won without pride, to me that makes me ashamed to be British, a guy in our office today said he was ashamed to be Welsh. I just wish they had won fair and square with no question marks.

Re: Euro 2016 thread
Not really an issue though is it. I'm sure if fans have an issue they wouldn't mind scratching off John Barnes' England goals or removing Raheem Sterling from the England squad. Wasn't more than a few years ago that England made an attempt to get Adnan Januzaj to commit to England. Wilfried Zaha is another. Saido Berahino, Shola Ameobi. The latter represting both England and Nigeria.
Doesn't stop at Football though, I'm sure Somalia fancy one of Mo Farah's gold medals.
If Wales had failed to qualify they'd have been Welsh. Get to the semi finals and they're English. Andy Murray's British when he wins.
Should be more ashamed that overlooked English talent is doing better than the supposed elite. On paper and bar Bale I can't see a single Welsh player making the England team, on the pitch however they've all performed infinitely better than England.
