Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
Yes, I love Layla too. The Americans seem to go mad for the English accent for some reason. I remember reading an article a few years ago about that Supernanny who said one American family she was filming with the dad loved it when she said the word naughty so much she had to use a different word in the end.
Anyway back to Divas. If they could find another Layla or Paige I'd consider the search a success.

I think I remember those searches, The Miz before proper ring action as the host?

He was for the Layla one, that I know of for sure. Never forget No Mercy 2006 where Big Dick Johnson came out from underneath a present and danced for Miz, with Miz thinking it was Layla. Though I never understood how he thought Layla would get away with taking off her bra, and also Big Dick didn't have breasts either.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
Yep always remembered that. How far back can people remember when they first started watching? I did watch beforehand but I believe my first major ppv was Backlash on channel 4. Can anyone put a date on that broadcast. 1am around 2001 I reckon, Jeff Hardy on Big Show from the tron? Was that it. Another one I was allowed up late for was Survivor Series, one of the best PPV's ever. Cage match with tables, test winning a battle royal, the 5v5 alliance and wwe match.
Backlash location was Chicago, remember it from the old paper TV guides.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
Yes, that was Shane McMahon v Big Show, April 2001 if I remember it correctly. My first PPV watched was as a real youngster, Wrestlemania 6. I remember watching the Hogan Warrior match and cheering when Warrior won.
I go through phases with WWE, every now and then I think sod this and don't watch for a few weeks but then something happens and pulls me back in. For me the best part of the year in WWE is the Road to Wrestlemania, but for some reason it sucked this year. The actual PPV was much better than the build up to it.

Ah yes, Shane, Was after an interference from Test was it? Or Test came in and carried him out or both.

I remember that, the days when wrestling was good, wcw wwf ecw all putting on great shows twice a week, pretty much sucks today. Is that the match when Kurt angle suplexed Shane through the glass windows only it took two attempts he tried through the wrong one first and it didn't smash

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
Test came out and propped Shane up on a crane or something to win the match.
Gutted about AJ, only Paige left now really as a major face.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
Even so, Paige has been a bit of a tweener lately. At least there are still some decent workers left, Natalya is always going to be reliable for a good match and Naomi can work too. Could be a good time so see which of the divas from NXT are ready for a call-up aw well.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
People keep saying Charlotte is the best one on NZT, but unfortunately I will forever associate her with her dad, and as I don't like Flair then Charlotte will never be liked by me.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
They've written Lesnar off TV for a bit then, bit tiring to watch now to be honest. Any idea who the cameraman taking the bump was last week?
