Question SBS 2003 R2 Sharepoint

I have got a problem at a customer site who wants to publish their sharepoint website to the internet so that their remote workers can access it without vpn access but I just cant get it to work!

I suspect something with the isapi filters but am really out of my depth here.

All the other websites work ie /exchange, /oma, /remote but the companyweb just aint there.

can anyone come up with some new angle/tip please?

Terry

Re: SBS 2003 R2 Sharepoint

You can either compromise the security of the server and make the INTERNAL website available to the world, or you can tell them it's a real dumb idea.

Personally, I'd go with the latter option.

I may sound harsh, possibly sarcastic, but what you are trying to do is a VERY VERY VERY bad idea.
Does the customer realise that the "Companyweb" site is an intranet site and has some pretty direct access to running services on the SBS?
