What is really annoying me about these games is that the BBC has so many channels on this, and yet there MAIN channel has - the games as well, what about the people who don't to watch the games.

BBC2, BBC4 or any of the other 100s of channels that the TVL allows you to watch live. Or VM's massive On Demand library.
In fact, overall, there are more channels not showing the Olympics than those that are.
