Vivid 200 giving less than 10Mbs
VM sent me a letter, advising that BB would be unavailable while essential maintenance work was being done in my area (05).
Since, the work was completed, I have been getting less than 10Mbs (wireless) from Vivid 200 - previously it was consistently between 150-180Mbs.
I have called VM, they did a few tests, and said that everything was working okay!!! Is anyone else having the same problem, particularly in area 05?

What speed are you getting on a wired connection?

Re: Vivid 200 giving less than 10Mbs
I do not use wired connections - why do you ask?
The issue, is the drop from 150-180, down to less than 10.

Because many things can affect a wifi connection, so the best way to check if you are in fact getting the speed you pay for to your home is to use a wired connection.

Re: Vivid 200 giving less than 10Mbs
Yes, I get that.
However, I am asking, if the problem is common in my area, after the upgrade, or solely with me.
If I can isolate the problem to only me, then I will take the time to look at my setup.
Otherwise, I will conclude that it is an issue with VM.

The only way you will know is by hardwiring in and checking

Have you rebooted the hub since the outage?

Re: Vivid 200 giving less than 10Mbs
Reboot your hub
Test the speed with an ethernet cable
If that is fine change your wifi channel and try again

Re: Vivid 200 giving less than 10Mbs
Evening All, Thanks for all the pointers/advice. Since speaking with VM, and after them doing their 'tests', my wireless service is now back to 140Mbs and above.
