Some cameras could not move as it would show the Presidential Palace which is not allowed.

Re: 2016 Formula 1 Season Thread
Naturally it was a very cautious race for most. I enjoyed that track and it defenitely needs a full time place. Just need the drivers to get to grips with it before we get some proper racing.
The rule blocking teams advising drivers for car issues is nonsense. That's quite an incredibly stupid rule. Affected Hamilton and was it Kimi too? I wouldn't want anyone stuck in limbo because of daft regulations. Happy to see a more open title race but I don't trust Rosberg to not pull another Monaco soon.

I wonder, would the radio ban have prevented them giving a setting by pit board?

Re: 2016 Formula 1 Season Thread
I see a pattern
LH has car issues NR wins
LH doesn't have car issues NR gets owned

Re: 2016 Formula 1 Season Thread
Yet again Rosburg crashes into Hamilton.
Rosburg need to be disqualified.
The fans let themselves down for booing Hamilton when Rosburg was 100% Rosburgs fault.
Rosburg is being investigated for causing a crash and driving with a badly damaged car.

Yes there is no doubt that it was Rosburg's fault.

Re: 2016 Formula 1 Season Thread
Never want to see people punished but that was an awful bit of driving by Rosberg.
---------- Post added at 16:24 ---------- Previous post was at 15:51 ----------
Actually. He literally made no attempt to make that turn. Everything that happened there was intentional and Nico's comments did nothing but confirm it and likely land him guilty already. Its yet another case of Rosberg being unable to shake off Hamilton any time he's in front and again throwing the dummy out and evidently trying just about anything to make sure Hamilton can't pass... Rather than you know.. Being faster and more precise, racing I think they call it.
Said it earlier in the season at Monaco in which he was so slow he was backing everyone up and never really have a reason for what he was doing besides lapping like a Nissan leaf.

Re: 2016 Formula 1 Season Thread
After watching the video it was obvious it was Rosbergs fault as he made no attempt to make the turn, anyone that sides with Rosberg must be biased.

He's the only German I'll side with. In case you haven't noticed by now, I can hold a grudge for a LONG time.

Re: 2016 Formula 1 Season Thread
Hamilton has been called to the steward.
Quote:
Unclear whether Lewis Hamilton is under investigation, or has been called to the stewards for his take on what Nico Rosberg got up to.
Either way, might be a bit awkward if they pass each other in the corridor.

Lewis Hamilton was being booed on the Austrian podium.
The British GP is up next - wonder how Nico Rosberg will be received...
