Transformers: The Last Knight (2017)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V14yJba0KEE (Teaser)

I didn't realise this had started production until my Facebook feed exploded with clips featuring autobots in Newcastle.

Scenes were filmed at Newcastle City centre this morning and the main human cast filmed at Alnwick a few days ago. I already assume this is a similar situation to World War Z and Glasgow. It was easier and cheaper to film in a city that slightly resembles their intended outcome. IIRC Glasgow substituted for Philadelphia for WWZ.

People hate this franchise but I've always thought it was awesome, big budget CGI bring Optimus to life and you can't beat Peter Cullen.

Re: Transformers: The Last Knight (2017)

I was bored during the last one, still been following this over the last few months though and love the new Bumblebee look.

Guessing as they have been filming in or near a castle as well then the story line will probably revolve around a King Arthur type legend involving the Autobots so the UK filming will probably mean that it will end up being named as another area of the UK.

Re: Transformers: The Last Knight (2017)

I thought the first one was phenomenal and the second one was okay but they went down hill after that. The problem for me is that all the fight scenes look the same now and I am sick and tired of the autobots getting their asses kicked.

For what it's worth it has got a release date for 23rd June next year. Every year I make a list of films I want to see at the cinema along with release dates so I can make sure I don't miss anything. I have already started on next years list but I am going to keep a surprise for you all until the new year (cue the suspense).

Re: Transformers: The Last Knight (2017)

I actually thought the last one was probably the best, but they're all pretty much the same.

I doubt the new on will offer anything different, but I'll still watch it.
