Re: my wii cursor disappears

the sensor bar is not a sensor bar it just flashes at the controller and the controller sends data via Bluetooth. Just for a test burn 2 tea lights in front of the tv instead of the bar see if that works better. If it does get a new bar

The last wii I modded the client never bought the bar I did the whole set up using candles

Re: my wii cursor disappears

Well it is a sensor bar as that is what its called lol.

It has a series of LEDs inside that pick up light emitted from the end of the Wiimote. It picks up direction and acceleration and the players position.

That is why it also picks up candle flames and other TV remotes.

no it does not at all it picks up nothing it just fires the wii mote picks up the leds and transmits via blue tooth to the console . That is why you can use candles

we also know that Nintendo's little bar is expendable - it doesn't do what you think it does and you may not even need it. Would you believe that you could replace it altogether with a couple of household items?
Have a read of this and you will see I am correct . The wiimote does all the sensing
