After months of trying to track some down my local aquatics shop got me the 2 glass shrimps I wanted for my cold water tank.

At £2.75 each my shrimp would make a tad expensive canapé.

That's cheap. I paid over 5 quid the other day for a sandwich, packet of crisps and a can of Coke at lunch.
I wouldn't mind keeping Axolotls as they are so adorable. Trouble is they eat other other fish.

My shrimp are only the size of my thumb nail so wouldn't go far on your buttie.
I wouldn't mind an Axolotis but knowing my luck the dang thing would probably end up metamorphosing and I would end up with a not so cute pet that lived for 15 years.

Axolotls will transform into a Salamander if they are injected with Iodine (QI fact)

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
I was at Manchester Airport when G-BOAC came in for it's final landing, they waived the noise limits, ported the ATC Feeds through the main PA system, Grounded ALL flights while G-BOAC landed and gave them a Honor Arch from the fire trucks as it made it's way along the Taxiway to it's current resting place.
(Note - this was not the final visit publicised, this was it's final landing.)

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
I was doing some shopping in my local Sainsburys when I saw Bobby Jack & Freedie with their dad Jeff Brazier (Jade Goody's kids).
They look like just two oridinary Happy kids walking with there father, and nobody was hasstling him.

It's good they seem to be having some peace and normality now.
My happy thought - have finished doing the dinner and am going to watch Emma on BBC2.

That is so nice to hear. I'm glad that they are both looking happy. That was nice that people left them in peace shopping as the kids have been through so much

Had a great two days away but so so happy to be home again. I'm just a home bird and love my own surrondings.
