Help,
I can't seem to connect to https://www.amazon.co.uk/ , But if i go through a UK vpn
I can connect fine!
Does this mean Virgin are blocking it for some reason ?
Any ideas ?

Generally you should always do that before speaking to Virgin, as it's normally the first thing you'll get asked to do.

People should do that before speaking to anyone about anything!
However working in IT support I know for a fact 99% of people don't bother then complain when they're asked to "turn it off and back on again"

I agree.
A reboot solves 99% of problems, the same advice applies for TiVo or modem.

Re: Amazon uk Blocked
I had massive issues with the Amazon site yesterday as well. Was not DNS related so assume part of their service was having a bit of a bad day. Service seemed to return to normal in the latter part of the day.

The worst ones are those that claim they've rebooted but haven't. I don't think people realise that we can see the uptime of their devices. The worst I had was a device with an uptime of over a year (which in any other circumstance is quite an achievement) and they claimed they rebooted it all the time.
Low and behind, when it's ACTUALLY rebooted, it magically works.

Yep! They want things fixed immediately however refuse to do the quickest, simplest thing that resolves a lot of issues.
By the time they whinge about rebooting, they could have done it and be back working
