Security camera connection SH3

Hi,

I have just installed the Virgin SuperHub3, previously having the SH2.

I use two Zmodo ZM-SH75D001 security cameras connected wirelessly.

Both previously worked flawlessly with the SH2, but I cant get either to connect to the SH3

I have named the 5g and 2.5g separately so iam able to connect to 2.5g as requested.

But it cant find the SH3 during setup.

Any ideas?

I read elsewhere I might need to 'port forward'?

Thanks

Re: Security camera connection SH3

I think you need do need to set up the port forwarding on the shub and it would be the same process/principle that you would have done with the shub2. The important bit to start though is setting up the ssid (network name) and password on the new shub. You will have to go back into the settings on the cameras and get it to rediscover wireless networks and/or enter the ssid and password manually.

Have a look at this link and watch this video and adjust accordingly for the ports:

Thanks for the link and info. With the SH2 I didn't have to do any port forwarding, it was a simple wireless connection. I think that's why this is throwing me a bit!
Thanks again for the help
