re: Stargate Universe : Season 1
Well having seen the premier, my fears of the "dumbed down" Stargate early reports told us Universe was going to be of have been dispelled.
Really promising start

re: Stargate Universe : Season 1
Really good start and its a lot darker and more grown up than the previous incarnations.
Its also taken a few pointers from Galactica with the handheld camera thing.

What an excellent start.
Loving the fact not everone is getting along and they are squabbling.
Also a bit confused I thought Lou diamond phillips was going to be a regular but from what I saw it didn't look like he got on the destiny, are we only going to see him in flashbacks?
Why couldn't they have use one of the remote controled camera things to push the button on the inside of the shuttle pod as eliah seemed to be contoling it ok?

Great show and i can't wait to see more. I wonder if Eli Wallace will have a change of clothes because he never had chance to pack a bag before they beamed him up.

Yes - because he already asked for new trousers when he ended up on board the Hammond

In an interview with DS he said he was only a guest star for this season.

Wasn't that because he only had boxer shorts on though?

Yep, looks promising so far.
Hopefully will be better that Atlantis which I thought was dismal.
