2 part epoxy

Looking for a 2 part heat resistant epoxy to glue the ferrules on my saucepan lids. For whatever reason the plastic around the ferrule seems to always break & I need to repair 2 of them. It needs to be heat & moisture resistant up to about 90c. Also not cost more than a new set of pans as I have seen some epoxy glues going for £130+

TIA

Re: 2 part epoxy

Araldite's pretty decent stuff and won't break the bank.

Re: 2 part epoxy

Cheer's for the input, I have Araldite but wasn't sure if it would degrade over time with heat & moisture.
As for Gorilla glue I use the PU version for bonding timber etc, that is probably as good as Cascamite,

I might try both, one on each handle & see which lasts longest and then repair the other one with the better one.

Re: 2 part epoxy

I used Araldite on the knob of our steamer to secure a nut for the screw that holds the lid to the knob when the plastic thread fell apart. Held up so far.
