How did you work out that you were short changed? it may be that Mr tax man is getting some money back from you as you under paid tax or NI.

i don't get taxed because im a student.

They deducted £18.20 tax which they need to refund, and if i include the tax they need to refund they under paid me £109.20

Oh, I thought that all work is taxed stude or not. Unless its only a few hours a week.

My wife found this link which may go some way to explaining how or why you have had these stoppages, she did try to explain it to me but it just rattles around and I forget LOL

i was working in Tesco for almost 7 months and got taxed the first 3 months then the 4th month all the tax was refunded and i wasn't deducted tax after that. the only thing i paid was NI which was like only £15.

no students are tax free...but they need to fill in a form usually

Thanks for the link, i usually use this one: http://www.thesalarycalculator.co.uk/hourly.php

Not sure which is better as i haven't looked.
