Has anyone used this app for connecting to hotspots?

What's the range like? If it's in a KFC or something could you connect outside it?

There is no one answer that as it all depends on the hotspot in question and the building it's in. Some will be accessible outside of a building and some won't.

However if your device can pick up a hotspot that's available with Virgin Media WiFi, then it'll connect to it.

I was just looking to test it out. There's a pub near me with it, but I don't want to go inside.
