Has anyone had any experience with (or ideas for) setting up multiple numbers to point to the same destination number cheaply?
A friend of mine is looking at setting up 4 or 5 numbers with different local area codes but wants them all to terminate at the same (existing number).
I've worked out one way to do it with a VOIP account that would be pretty cheap but wondered if there were any recommendations for services designed for this rather than kludging it through a VOIP account which essentially means bouncing all calls through another gateway adding another possible point of failure.
Pick a Voip service, and most, if not all, can have as many incoming numbers as you like. Usually its free for the first number, then you pay for the rest.
Let me recommend voip talk, ive been with them for years
