Re: Sky + Problem

Sounds broken to me And it keeps doing this even after you've powercycled it? One thing you could try is a software update.

1. Remove the power from the box in whatever way you want (switch off at mains, unplug power from back)
2. Hold the "Back Up" button on the front of the box
3. Return power to the box and keep the button held in until you see an on-screen message

Hope this helps

Re: Sky + Problem

If the box is broke and you're out of warranty Sky will charge you in the region of £65. For this they'll either repair your box or give you a refurbished box with a 1 year guarantee. If you're unhappy with this and decide you want to cancel your account you'll be put through retentions. Remarkably you'll then be offered to have the box repaired/replaced free of charge.
