The installer should update your current 1TB off the DR stream which will give you the newer EPG with its catch up facility , is your new multiroom box a PVR or the non PVR ? If its the non PVR that will only receive the new EPG in early 2013.

The non PVR is called a SkyHD box it's a (DRX595)
The PVR is now referred to as Sky+HD (DRX890) and the 2TB Sky+HD is (DRX896)
Your existing 1TB should be a (DRX895) I believe.

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
Not sure where to post this, so sorry if it's in the wrong place, but just found out that Now TV, which, at this time, is effectively Sky Movies, currently has a special offer price of £8.99 p/m. Is this because the original £15 was not bringing in punters when compared to the £5/6 of Lovefilm and Netflix? I wonder how long the offer will go on for?

l suspect this is a offer up to Christmas PB as after you have had it for the promotional period it soon gets bumped up to the unrealistic £15 monthly subscription fee.

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
Sky always have offers for Movies and Sports , as a Sky Sports subscriber I pay an additional £8.00 a month for Sky Movies which to me represents value when compared to Lovefilm and Netflix's older movie offerings.

True but that is part of yor satellite sub. Now TV is competing with Netflix and Lovefilm. I find it interesting that they have reduced the price by a significant amount, and merely wondered why.

It's an introductory offer for new subscribers , you get 30 days free then 3 months at £8.99 before it reverts to £15.
