Scotland win the world cup

Not to worry though, it's only the golf.

Scotland's Colin Montgomerie and Marc Warren won the World Cup with a play-off victory over the United States at Mission Hills in China.
None of the big guns were playing in the tournament, but that won't stop the jocks from gloating, no doubt.

Still, at least they beat the yanks.

Re: Scotland win the world cup

Just to let you know......i was gutted when Scotland went out and i was gutted when England went out..
What happened to the Welsh again??

Unless we were playing eachother though then i would always root for the home nations to win.

I love the English in fact.

Re: Scotland win the world cup

It great one of the home teams has won something this year.

I'm English, my grandad on my mums side was Scottish.

I will always back England, if they are playing other home teams, but I will back the others (inc Southern Ireland)

Re: Scotland win the world cup

My wife was born down here, although she was adopted by Scotland almost at birth
We`ve been living down here for nigh on 8 years now though and indeed 2 of our Daughters were born right along the road, one at the old Greenwich hospital and one at the new Queen Elizabeth.

As i said....I love the English
