Major expansion of BBC Local Radio on Freeview

The BBC is expanding its radio offering on Freeview to include 5 BBC local radio stations from each Freeview transmitter. Listeners will not only receive the radio station intended for their area, but overlapping stations from other areas in the transmitter group they are using.

In the West Midlands, some changes are being made to sub-divide the region further, to target the relevent stations at the required areas. Viewers using The Wrekin, or the line fed relay transmitters at Bromsgrove & Lark Stoke may need to retune their receivers:

Excellent news. I had feared that this would be kicked into the long grass with the current pressures on BBC finances.
