Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
CM punk suffers leg injury. Match for TLC is scrapped.
What do people make of the poor secret that is Lesnar vs Taker at WM
Likely a poor match in which Lesnar demonstrates about 4 MMA moves and gasses out.
If Lesnar were to beat the Undertaker at WM, I'd stop watching indefinetely. HHH, Shawn Michaels, two of the greatest superstars of all time didn't even take that streak, If they let a money grabbing piece of crap like Lesnar take it, I couldn't watch any more.

Taker will retired undefeated at WM. There's no way they'd leave him leave the sport without that accolade.

Its going to be an awful match, the great man hasn't got it anymore and Brock could've had it but never did, could compete with hhh Scott steiner for the worst ppv match ever.

Just a month I'd imagine, even it were more serious they'd encourage him to be back by the Rumble. Cos' Rocky's got to promote GI Joe 2 with a title belt.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
So what happens if the Rock wins at the rumble? based on Mr Johnson's appearance rates, we wont see the title again till WM.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
Christ knows, but it wouldn't shock me if we had another CM Punk/Cena situation, where Punk walked out after winning the title in 2011, then coming back once Cena was crowned the new champion a week or 2 later. Wouldn't shock me in the least.
Reckon Punk will lose at Rumble, Cena cashes in the briefcase (if he gets it, rumours are he will win the briefcase off Ziggler) and then Punk and Cena feud until WM, and we have a Triple Threat at WM between Rock, Cena and Punk.
That, or there will be a tournament for 6 spots in the EC, and then at EC we get a match for a new WWE Champion then at WM we get Rock v the new WWE Champion.

Twice in a lifetime (Rock vs Cena II) is my bet.
But it will all go down the drain if Cena wins the MITB. Cena can only cash in on the WHC not the WWE champion.
Cena to make more appearances on Friday night's? Would make sense seen as though he's been appearing there for a while now whilst feuding with Ziggler.
Sheamus destroys Big Show at some point after a DQ win, Cena cashes in and becomes WHC. As long as they have him actually cash that thing in properly I won't care. The cash in vs punk was just stupid. Sportsmanship gimmick is just crap. Shouldn't be hard to pull off with Show as a heel.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
I can't see Cena winning the briefcase. That'll make Ziggler the second man to fail to cash it in and win and Cena is about the only man who that wouldn't hurt.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
Wresting question. Which parts of wrestling are 'real'? I know everyone gets upset if you dare raise the possibility it isn't but, with the winners decided in advance, what stops it becoming a very skilled and athletic theatre instead of a sport (in wwe, not traditional, terms)?
How do the matches work? Do the participants get told the winner and they improvise the entire match or are they given a play-by-play of moves/momentums to do? Do they get given a time to abide by and told the end in a certain way? How do they know what move the other is about to execute?

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
*Cracks knuckles* Here goes.
It's all down to the booker/promoter (often one and the same person). He'll have an idea of what sort of matches he wants (technical, comedy, high-flying etc etc) from who he can get on the show.
Each match needs to tell a story therefore both wrestlers have to be able to get their character over to the crowd in a way that makes the people care enough about them to be interested in the match. The promoter will tell both guys who he wants to win and roughly how long to go on for - often this is where the ref helps them. Sometimes he'll tell them how he wants the match to end, for example if he wants the bad guy to get a reputation then he'll ask him to cheat-to-win, usually behind the ref's back. But more often than not if he knows the guys are good workers he will tell them who is going to win and leaves them sort it out between them.
It's then up to the guys to put on a match which entertains the crowd, tells a good story and makes the people feel they're getting their money's worth.
None of us will pretend the show is real however the injuries are. We can learn to fall ('bump') correctly but it still hurts and we rely on the other guy to protect us whether we're giving or taking the move. There are ways the ref will check if an injury is legit or not but for the sake of kayfabe I won't go in to it here.
Before the match the guys will go over what they want to do and rehearse scenarios. A lot of the time if they are experienced they'll just call it on the fly - some moves just flow together. A lot of the time they'll discuss it in the ring as they go along. Good performers know the tricks of doing this without you noticing it. Bad performers end up getting the crowd discussing it with them...
edit: not all wrestlers or promoters stick to this but these are generally considered what should be the standard points to a match... http://www.wikihow.com/Create-a-Real-Wrestling-Match
Ignore the 'double down'. Ideally that should only happen once throughout the whole show and usually in the main event otherwise it takes some of the excitement off it.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)
Rumour I heard was CM Punk v Taker at WM, and that Taker requested this as the match.
