I'd agree with you there, series one was great. I could never understand why originally it was shown at 2am on ITV.

Smallville equaled SG-1, it didn't beat it

Re: What is your favourite Sci Fi Series
Sliders was a big favourite of mine although the last couple of series really lost the plot and got a bit stupid.
Dark Skies was also great but sadly got cut very short, I still have all the epsiodes on my external HDD and watch every so often.
All the Star Trek and Stargate series as well as Babylon 5.
In fact I am such a big Sci-Fi geek that I love most of the series that has been mentioned al ready.

Re: What is your favourite Sci Fi Series
So so hard pretty much any sci-fi series,
Space Above and Beyond ( i think there is still little piece of me holding out for a return )
Star Trek
Babylon 5
SG-1
X-files
And so many good shows cancelled by stupid American tv executives
Firefly, 4400 etc

Re: What is your favourite Sci Fi Series
Most of the ones on the list, plus a bunch mentioned in the thread.
Hard to name an overall favorite, but if pushed Id probably say Babylon 5.
