No doubt they only serve a very small area, so not likely.

Community Fibre are a specialist broadband provider focused on delivering gigafast services to communities across London.
With speeds of up to 3GB available, Community Fibre are one of the fastest broadband providers in the UK.
They offer rolling monthly deals on some packages, while their customer service record puts them at the top of the Trustpilot rankings.
So far, they are available to less than 200,000 homes and businesses across London, though, so many who might be eager to sign up won't be able to do so yet.

The black dots on the map show where (in London) you can get it.

At the moment they seem to be more like providers such as Talk Talk, BT etc.
I think that their main selling point will be superfast broadband as, after all, telephony and TV will eventually be provided over the internet on all platforms.
Hopefully these new companies will expand their offering & geographical areas and provide VM with much needed competition.

Doubtful outside of main conurbations (unless HMG gives support funding) - the cost of street works/infrastructure is too high for the gradual return on investment.

This is one of the main reasons the U.K. cable companies merged in the 90s/00s.

IMO it was a mistake to divide the country up and grant individual franchises. These franchises still actually exist, it's just that VM now has all bar one (I think).
Wasn't there talk of cutting costs by running the cables through the sewers?
