Orphan Black : Season 1
Just picked up on this, dont know if its one to keep on with yet tho.
Bit of blurb....
Quote:
Orphan Black follows outsider, orphan and street-wise chameleon Sarah. After witnessing a woman's suicide, Sarah assumes the strangers identity - who happens to look just like her. Expecting to solve all her problems by cleaning out the dead woman's savings, Sarah is instead thrust headlong into a kaleidoscopic mystery as she realizes the dizzying truth - she and the dead woman are clones. As Sarah searches for answers, she discovers the chilling fact that there are more people like her out there - genetically identical individuals who were planted in unsuspecting birth parents and nurtured in completely different circumstances. With no idea who created the clones, she'll need to discover the reason in a hurry as an assassin is killing them one by one.

Re: Orphan Black : Season 1
I've been watching this. I quite like it, and it gets a lot better after the pilot. The only iffy thing is the female lead's accent... she's supposed to have been raised in London, but she sounds more like she's from Australia or something.

America won't know the difference between accents.

This is true lol.
I do get why she hops from one accent to another, trying to juggle 3 or 4 parts has got to be a tad confusing.
Up to ep7 so far and it is quite good in its own quirky way.

It probably is a little confusing..
When David Boreanez was in Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, he played two parts: Angel (who was the good guy) and Angellus (who was the evil side of the good guy). He said on some days, the only way he could work out what part he was going to be playing was by looking at what trousers the wardrobe department had put out for him.
Keep meaning to give Orphan Black a try. It sounds good.

Re: Orphan Black : Season 1
I'm up to date with the US. I think there's just one ep left of the season.
I'm really enjoying it. It's definitely improved since the pilot. It's also been renewed for a second season.

Re: Orphan Black : Season 1
I've just watched the last 2 episodes and it is an excellent show. I like how we got partial answers but they didn't answer everything. I was wondering where the show would go in a second season and I guess now we know.
