Re: What are your best and worse TV ads?

The betting ads on the Sporting channels really irritate me. What the hell is being 'kwiffed' anyway? more likely you've just been ripped off . Must work I guess, as there are idiots out there...

You really must stop pontificating on what people should or not do OB as you lead your life the way you want to lead it and leave people to lead their lives they want to lead and if they like to watch adverts or watch anything else then that is their choice.

Re: What are your best and worse TV ads?

Gambling is addictive and harmful and unnecessary. It should be treated the same as tobacco and not allowed to advertise including sponsorship. This would especially apply to ads for bingo.

And when you thought the Nationwide had made a really nasty advert you get this one:

Kill. kill, kill.

I haven't seen that before and I loved it. It made me laugh. I think the AA make great ads and I wish they would bring this one back. It had everyone singing when it came on TV:

Most ads are annoying but I would gladly see this every time there is an ad break instead of the PPI adverts. I wish I could embed an audio file to automatically play with this post. "Gladstone Brookes".

The advert on at the moment that really makes me scream is the current Sky advert for their broadband (the one with them irritating cartoon characters. )

Oh dear it must be bad telegramsam.

The trouble with a lot of these adverts nowadays are they are completely divorced from reality or are poorly made without any imagination at all.

That must be the one featuring the Incredibles from Pixar.

Re: What are your best and worse TV ads?

I love it when they tie in the ads with the latest movie releases. Sky have done loads like that it must cost them a few $$$ because the characters always look completely real like Pixar/the studio have done all the animation themselves.

Re: What are your best and worse TV ads?

I bet they also use the adverts in other countries for other ISPs.

It's probably to do with who owns them all and deals struck.
