Any o365 Sharepoint gurus knocking about

Issue:

O365 group created (public)

Unable to add external users as administrative policies are preventing etc message appears

However all the sharing settings for external users are turned on in the tenant.

Also the sharepoint site thats created as part of the group isn't viewable in site collections as they're hidden on purpose. But i need/want to check the sharing settings for the site domain.sharepoint.com/sites/
