TV worth getting?

Just wondering what that TV service is like thesedays.

I don't watch much live TV at all, mostly VOD (Netflix) but I'm moving to a virgin area in a place that's no BT line so probably going to end up with VM's broadband.

At the moment it's something daft like £50.25 for the 200/20 broadband on it's own or £60 for the limited edition movies bundle + the 200/20 broadband with ~£110 cashback via top cash back (If they pay out) means essentially i'd be paying next to nothing for the TV service

Annoyingly though it looks like ordering the v6 box does mean that I can't quickstart also given the install says they'll setup and Demo I guess I'll need an actual TV at the new place when they install (Might just take the small one from the bedroom over)

Edit: Cost of a TV license isn't a factor as I already have one and will just change the address on it (I do question why sometimes but at least having one gives me the option of watching TV if i want to)

Re: TV worth getting?

Hmm I've just found threads on the VM community that suggests the area I'm moving to might have congestion issues on the broadband side.

Great....

Re: TV worth getting?

Ordered.

Btw does the Netflix on the V6 box use it's own cable modem or is that why it needs to be connected to the broadband?

Re: TV worth getting?

Well the TV is working thanks to the engineer using his test modem to do the initial setup but broadband isn't as apparently the CPFE is down at the moment so can't provision the sh3 so still on 4g currently
