It would make sense and would be very useful indeed. I have managed to get a lot of my family over to the Virgin services and am now trying to get us all on Virgin Mobile too. It would be great if free calls could work both ways with landlines/mobiles.
And with Virgin (I believe) joining the Everything Everywhere service then signal issues should be far fewer. Seems a good time to be with Virgin for most things - except perhaps the landline where inclusive international calls would be nice

I can't see how it wouldn't be. It's closing the circle as it were

Re: Virgin offers unlimited 30-day rolling contract for a fiver
Email received from VM re: my new Account.
Happy to say all is well and is set up.
So far cound CS to be top notch.
One question though and I wonder if anyone else has seen this?
Checking my Account this morning and under "Here's how much you've spent:" I have apparently spent £4?
Spent on what lol?
I signed up last night and haven't received my sim yet!
thanks for any replies.

It will be a partial payment of the bill the same as my wifes phone and you will probably notice that it has not been taken from your account as yet.

Re: Virgin offers unlimited 30-day rolling contract for a fiver
Ah...I see.
Your right, its not been taken out my account yet.
If the ammount each month is correct then no problemo I'd say.
Speaking of which, which date of the month does the DD usually come out and can it be changed at all?
Would be good for all my VM services to come out around the same time if possible.
thanks.

Hers is dated the 21st of the month even though we received a billing email today.
My contract phone is the 23rd of the month.

Re: Virgin offers unlimited 30-day rolling contract for a fiver
I was going to get one for the other half but it seems I failed the credit check. Which is odd considering the contract I have with virgin mobile already. Ah well.

Re: Virgin offers unlimited 30-day rolling contract for a fiver
Sorry 'bout that mate.
You'd think if you had a good record with VM for your telly n stuff that would make a difference, but its a totally different Company i think.
I'm saving a fiver a month, not much really.
Tempted though to put it towards a second box in the bedroom (Im on XL)

Just had a phone call from VM to answer (and confirm) that this indeed is what the £4 charge is. (do they read these forums? lol)
Its an advance charge for the first month.
£4 as there is a £1 credit on the sim..so effectively teh first month is £4 not £5.
Top marks for Customer Service from VM so far.
Credit where credits due.

Re: Virgin offers unlimited 30-day rolling contract for a fiver
Just gone over to the £5 deal, lost about 40 minutes of my existing contract which expires 25th April.
Opo I spoke to confirmed £5 deal finishes today, although it no longer says this on virgin mobile website (it did a couple of weeks ago).
