Re: Superhub security mode settings

Most people, myself included, use WPA2-PSK. It's the most secure AFAIK.

Re: Superhub security mode settings

I tried to change mine to WPA2-PSK but it said I may also have to update my wireless devices to ensure they can still connect to the network. Do you know what this will entail? I have my desktop wired to the hub but i run a laptop and ipad off it as well (wifi) thanks

Re: Superhub security mode settings

ipad should be fine. the laptop may need updating. open windows update and check in optional. wpa2-psk is set to default anyway. i guess theres no harm in updating drivers but if its working then leave it.

Re: Superhub security mode settings

Only common device that wont use WPA-PSK is Wii's, some older phones wont, but you can set up a guest network using WEP for those

Enterprise is more secure, only most people won't have the knowledge or equipment to get it to work.
